SOS! My Boyfriend Is Such a BORE!
Gawwd I simply do not know what to do. My boyfriend is nothing but an incurable bore! He invariably yawns every time we go out, not to mention the fact that he never jokes, sometimes I think he doesn't give a damn about me. Because he knows what I'm like, knows that I love to have fun and he doesn't even take me to places where I could do it at least by myself, and he'd sit in the corner and doze off because he's oh so tired and worn out after work!
We never kiss in public because he thinks... Heck knows what he thinks about it, he constantly makes up new excuses and I want to kiss absolutely everywhere! Every time we go out I immediately turn into a clown entertaining him, speaking to him, ruffling his boring mind but I never get any response! I'm the one who speaks, jokes, laughs, sometimes I feel like I'm dating my self!
Oh well, my dear, you were 'lucky' to have met that special male bore who has not a tiny bit of sense of humour and who will probably turn you into his co-snorer if you continue waste your precious time on him. Most likely he' a pessimist and the only humour he may be good at is a very black one. Your senseofhumourless friend doesn't care that you're always up for a good laugh, he laughs and smiles very rarely, only when he has to. Naturally, he doesn't know how to have fun – he thinks he doesn't need it, he thinks you don't need it either because if you love him to pieces you probably love him for his absolute boringness too. And in reality you must've just got tired of the clowns who are so good at juggling with naïve gals' hearts. However, dating a bore is no good either. Still haven't figured out why? Probably because still haven't met one fortunately. Beware of this sleeping specious if you don't want to sleep your life away instead of having as much fun as possible.
Men without sense of humour are harmful for your health. Most likely they will bring neither spiritual nor carnal happiness to you. They may attract your attention because of their serious attitude towards your relationship but believe the experienced us, you will get drowned in this seriousness very soon. They won't save you because they cannot swim either...
'A man without sense of humour is like a car without shock absorbers', - the expression I recently heard from a funny male friend. Well, yes, haha, that may be true for the ones who know all about cars. To me a man without sense of humour is like a purse without a lipstick, Marilyn Monroe without her shapes, or Justin Timberlake without 50 Cent or the shocked me without shock absorbers, any fatal comparison will fit here.
Everyone knows that we ladies love men who sweep us off our feet, charm us to pieces, make our blonde-brunette-red heads go round... A man without sense of humour certainly doesn't possess all these globally important qualities and i.e. is able to attract a few women only (tastes differ after all).
While a man with great sense of humour can enchant any woman of any age, occupation or intellect. A man with great sense of humour doesn't even have to be very handsome or well-educated. Who cares about intelligence when a person is so good at making you smile! Cherish such guy if you have found him and never let him go. And if you do, let us know about it as soon as possible, there are so many poor women around who still haven't found that special funny someone!
