Sense of Humour in a Relationship

There can be different things happening in couples – they may fight, argue, make love, laugh, sulk at each other, cry because of each other, beat each other up (some call it passion my friend!) or show out-of-this-world gentleness. Believe our out-of-this-universe experience but it's all good as long as two people don't part or get bored with each other. The former is a 'lethal' outcome, we better not dwell upon it for we're being highly positive here.
As for getting bored with each other, it sure is a serious problem in a relationship, that's why we'll gladly tell you about it before it leads another 'pair' of soulmates to that very notorious lethal unhappy end.
Sense of humour acquires special importance in a relationship. When you have great sense of humour you are not only great at making your partner smile (laugh) every day, you also skillfully avoid all needless conflicts in your relationship. It doesn't mean that you simply 'stick' a joke on it, no. It means that you possess a very precious talent of making your partner sure that the problem the two of you have stumbled over is just a tiny misunderstanding which is very easy to clear up.
When you have sense of humour, you can easily deal with things about your partner that sometimes annoy you. It's well-known that we aren't perfect and love our soulmates 'no matter what' (as opposed to loving them for certain qualities).
For example, you're slightly irritated by your boyfriend's constant snoring or, for instance, your girlfriend's way too funny way of chewing... It would be simply stupid to make a fuss about such things but they still do annoy you once in a while. So why not start passionately kissing your boyfriend every time he starts snoring, or try feeding your girlfriend like a child explaining to your little girl how to eat and chew correctly.
Needless to say that sense of humour is of great importance at the very first stage of having a relationship. We're all (especially women) looking for a partner who would have sense of humour, that's a must indeed. Why would we need a clown eh? Why can't we be satisfied with a nice serious but too boring guy who would seriously love us... and then would seriously bore us to death with his love, looks, and his entire mature self all in one... The obvious answer to this question has just been given. Women love a clown, a heart and soul of any party, for he is so charming and definitely attracts more attention than a silent shy guy sipping on his boring cocktail somewhere in the corner while everyone else is having a blast.
Sense of humour is one of the crucial things that will save the world, for sure. But sometimes it seems that saving the world is much easier than saving a relationship where two partners have just soaked up each other completely and ended up being so totally dryingly bored with each other. That's why sense of humour really is important at all stages of your loveaffair, every new day of your relationship seems like a breath of fresh air if you are able to use your sense of humour to let you and your partner enjoy co-lovaffairing with you!
